A Sunny Weekend “Up North”
Almost all of our family lives north of us on the map, so when we’re planning on visiting, we say that we’re going “Up North.” Last weekend we went up north, and here are some pictures:
While we were there we had some delicious strawberries that were grown, picked, and sold by the Amish. They were incredibly fresh and delicious, some of the best strawberries I think I’ve ever had:

Another Day at the Beach
We stopped by a local beach to check out the site where my sister and her husband will be having their wedding reception this summer. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to stay for a while. The E-man had a great time playing in the sand!!

A Few More Pictures - Dinner and a New Chair
The other night Mommy caught the picture bug and took a bunch of pictures at the dinner table. As always, the E-man looked great in the photos, so I thought I’d share some of our favorites. In the picture with his hands over his eyes, I love how stubby his little fingers are - they won’t stay that way for long.
And that’s his new lounge chair, which he loves. His favorite part is the cup holder!

Birthday Party!!
This is REALLY late, but I wanted to post a few pictures of the E-man’s second birthday party. It was a beautiful sunny day in late April, and lots of people were there to share it with us. He received way too many presents, forcing us to shove more of his older toys into the scary toy closet! That will be a project for this summer.
As you can see, the E-man loves horses. My wife made his beautiful birthday cake, and it tasted as good as it looked!
